There are so many criminal minded folks walking the streets. So many schemers and deceivers… But it doesn’t make me sad, not even in the least. Why is that my lovelies?
Because I know for every single drop of bad blood running amuck in our society, there are millions to the tenfold of goodness walking the streets. Mothers and fathers taking care of their children, breaking backs to feed mouths, helping others for no price tag except that dash of spice thrown into the soul, regular Joes and Janes smiling day after day and spreading POSITIVE energy, Prison guards who take care of their prisoners and mean it, teachers who believe in changing the world and planting seeds, children with dreams of one day taking care of their parents, flowers given, knowledge passed on through generations, graffiti with peace messages, the list can go on for ions. Yet sometimes we forget this because of the mayhem portrayed in media (you won’t catch me infront of a TV screen!). Like magic everyone was absorded in killings, rapes, murder, murder, bloody homicide. Faulty leaders sure don’t make it easier. That’s reality…Or is it the falsified reality?
But the reason why I’m even bringing this up is because I ran into a person who made me feel like I had walked straight into a mammatus thundercloud. Darkness and energy sapping power groped me in my minds most secret places. Isn’t it hard to brush a person off when they are so FULL of themselves, so full of angst and anger? She hated me, I could feel it.
It’s hard for me not to feel other people. But don’t you forget, where there is a will, there is always a way. I would like you to try something. When one person makes you feel bad, I want you to make TEN people feel good.
Smile at a stranger the same way you would smile at Gandhi. Hug a friend as if their life depended on it. Tell a co-worker how much you appreciate the little things or big things they do. Look into the sky and give thanks for another day of freedom under a blue and brilliant canvas. Call your parents and grandparents because you care and they will always care. Above all, wherever you go concentrate on one thing; greeting each day with LOVE & GOODNESS. Yes, Hipsters united, spread that good juju.
This negative nancy that walked into my life showed me nothing but I FELT her bad vibes right when I walked into the room. That alone (besides her stank face) offset me. Thank God it didn’t throw me off board to get picked apart by misery sharks. If she has the power to send her energy to others, so do we.
Send your good vibrations and energy to every person you come in contact with. How many times do I have to say, HAPPINESS IS INFECTIOUS.
So please my lovely individuals who make the world a diamond and gold-flecked place, leave a footstep of happiness behind you on every path taken. Whether you go uphill or downhill, focus on that goodness. I’m depending on it.
